🎉 Party FAQs
1) Can I change my party package as the event gets closer?
Yes! You may upgrade a Basic Party Package to a Party Plus Package up to 14 days prior to your event, subject to availability.
2) Do you have high-chairs available?
Yes! We have six high-chairs available for you and your guests to use.
3) Can we bring our own food or dessert?
You may bring your own themed cake only.
Cupcakes with sprinkles are included in the Basic Party Package.
The Party Plus Package does not include cupcakes, but they may be purchased as an add-on during booking or you may bring your own themed cake.
🚫 No other outside food or drinks are permitted.
4) Can we bring alcohol?
No. Alcohol is not permitted at this time.
5) Can we bring our own decorations or hire a decorator?
No. All parties are fully inclusive, and outside decorations or decorators are not allowed.
Customization options are available only through the Party Plus add-on menu during booking.
6) When is payment due and what payment methods are accepted?
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date.
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your party.
We accept payments via Square, which supports most major credit and debit cards.
Personal checks are not accepted.
Gratuity is optional and may be added via card or given in cash.
7) When can I arrive on the day of my party?
Arrival 10 minutes prior to your scheduled party time is sufficient.
8) Will there be other parties or customers during my event?
Nope! All private party packages include a full private rental of our entire facility for 2 hours.
9) Are socks required?
Yes. For safety and cleanliness:
No shoes or bare feet are allowed anywhere inside the café or play areas.
Adults may wear regular socks.
All children must wear grip socks.
Forgot socks? No worries! Grip socks are available for purchase for $2 per pair (adults & children).
10) Will the coffee / espresso bar be open during my party?
Yes! Every party is staffed with a trained barista, and our full café menu is available.
You may choose to run a tab or allow guests to pay per order.
11) Is stroller parking available inside?
No. We do not have stroller parking inside the facility.
Please leave strollers secured in your vehicle.
12) Can I reschedule my party?
Yes. You may reschedule up to 14 days prior to your event at no additional fee.
A new date must be selected at the time of the request and is subject to availability.
13) Can I cancel my party?
Parties or private events canceled 14 days or more in advance may be rescheduled one time.
🚫 No refunds are issued for parties or private events.
Party & Private Event Terms
By reserving a party or private event at Happy Times Play Café, the booking parent or guardian (“Host”) agrees to the following terms. These policies help us provide a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for all families.
Reservations & Payment
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party date and time.
The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event.
Payments are processed through Square, which accepts most major credit and debit cards.
Personal checks are not accepted.
Gratuity is optional and may be added by card or cash.
Package Changes
A Basic Party Package may be upgraded to a Party Plus Package up to 14 days prior to your event, based on availability.
Package downgrades are not permitted.
Food & Drinks
Families may bring one themed cake only.
Cupcakes with sprinkles are included with the Basic Party Package.
The Party Plus Package does not include cupcakes, but they may be purchased as an add-on during booking or replaced with a themed cake.
No other outside food or beverages are permitted.
Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
Decorations
All parties are fully inclusive, meaning decorations and setup are provided by Happy Times Play Café.
Outside decorations or hired decorators are not allowed.
Customization options are available only through the Party Plus add-on menu during booking.
Arrival Time
Hosts may arrive up to 10 minutes prior to their scheduled party start time.
Early access beyond this window is not available.
Private Facility Use
All private party packages include exclusive use of the entire facility for two (2) hours.
No other parties or public guests will be present during your event.
Socks & Safety
To help keep our space clean and safe:
No shoes or bare feet are allowed inside the café or play areas.
Adults may wear regular socks.
All children must wear grip socks.
Grip socks are available for purchase for $2 per pair for both children and adults.
Café & Barista Service
Every party includes a trained barista, and our full café menu is available during the event.
Hosts may choose to run a tab or allow guests to purchase individually.
Strollers & High-Chairs
Stroller parking is not available inside the facility. Please leave strollers secured in your vehicle.
Up to six high-chairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rescheduling
Parties may be rescheduled one (1) time if requested at least 14 days prior to the event date.
A new date must be selected at the time of request and is subject to availability.
Cancellations & Refunds
Parties canceled 14 days or more prior to the scheduled date may be rescheduled one time.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable. No refunds are issued for parties or private events.
Agreement
By submitting a deposit and/or hosting an event at Happy Times Play Café, the Host acknowledges and agrees to these terms and policies.
